In general, if we consider the "Death Zone" as an action movie, then it is quite lively, dynamic, and colorful. So, there are enough battle scenes in which the authors have introduced an element of science fiction quite well - androids, gump robots that are fighting not only for the US army - all this is at the modern level of special effects. Also, the system of conflict between humans and artificial intelligence is quite interestingly shown, the authors also refused to idealize any of the parties - the Americans authorize the destruction of the militia, despite the obvious casualties among civilians, the rebels finish off the wounded prisoner, and the militia is credited with detonating the "dirty bomb" that destroyed Kiev.
Of course, the film has some positive aspects. One of them is the infinitely beautiful landscapes of the snow-capped mountains. Here, at the same time, you can praise the cameraman - with the exception of a couple of moments, everything was shot very well. I want to place individual frames on the desktop.
As for the actors, only Ivanna Sakhno can be praised - the actress really tried, gave out convincing emotions and, in fact, went out of her way to save the film. A talented girl, in short. The Ukrainian audience may remember her from the film Ivan Sila (2013), after which she left for the United States. Unfortunately, for now Hollywood is in no hurry to obey Ivanna - her successful works remain minor roles in weak films, such as the sequel to "Pacific Rim" (2018) and "The Spy Who Dumped Me" (2018).
In short, "Let it snow" is a bad movie. It's better to look at Liam Neeson running away from wolves.
